Mrs. Schmitt is excited to be back at Sts. Peter and Paul in 3rd grade!
Mrs. Schmitt taught at Sts. Peter and Paul for 6 years before taking some time off to be home with her kids. She went to Gibson Southern High School and then graduated from USI in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Schmitt felt God’s call to return to teaching so in 2018, she took courses through St. Mary-of-the-Woods to renew her teaching license and to add grades 4-6 to her repertoire. She was a K-8 learning resource assistant at Haubstadt Community School and taught 3rd grade at McCutchanville Elementary School before returning to Sts. Peter and Paul.
Mrs. Schmitt and her husband, Jason, have three children Maddie, Emmett, and Ellie. They are members of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish. Their oldest daughter, Maddie, has attended Sts. Peter and Paul since preschool and Emmett and Ellie will follow.
